Tottenham reacts to Kudus’ performance for Ghana
Though he did not find the back of the net, Kudus was central to the Black Stars’ success.
His direct dribbles, raw strength, and relentless one-on-one battles constantly troubled the Malian defence at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8.

Even without playing at full throttle, his presence could not be ignored — and Spurs made sure to acknowledge it.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the club wrote:
“Mo in action for Ghana Black Stars during their 1-0 win against Mali ⭐”
The message quickly caught fire online, drawing reactions from Ghanaians and Tottenham fans alike.
One supporter, @keenn_eth, wrote:
“Good game from MO. Hoping to see him shine for Spurs this season.”
Another, @KwahinPaa, proudly added:
“Good game, Mo Kudus. Keep soaring high, Bro. Ghana is proud of you ❤️.”
Others praised him as a “proper baller” and “a Starboy indeed,” while some simply congratulated him on the victory.
The club also did something similar for Pape Matar Sarr, who was on the scoresheet for Senegal in their wins against Sudan and DR Congo.
Beyond the Mali clash, Kudus also delivered an assist in Ghana’s frustrating draw with Chad.
His contributions have left the Black Stars within touching distance of another World Cup appearance, needing just one win from their last two qualifiers against the Central African Republic and Comoros.
Kudus prepares for fiery West Ham reunion
Now, attention shifts back to club duties. Kudus is set for a highly anticipated reunion with former side West Ham United on September 13, according to Flashscore.
It promises to be a heated evening at the London Stadium, with emotions running high among Hammers fans still bitter about his summer switch to Spurs.

Some supporters even burnt his jersey, while others labelled him “Judus” in reference to Judas Iscariot.
Despite the noise, Kudus has already made a fast start in North London, scoring twice in his first three league appearances, per Transfermarkt.
As he prepares to return to familiar ground, he will be eager to let his football speak louder than the backlash in what is shaping up to be one of the standout fixtures of the Premier League this weekend.
