The Black Stars of Ghana have safely arrived in N’Djamena ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad.
The four-time African champions touched down in the Central African country late on Tuesday evening before moving to their team hotel to settle in.

Ghana will face Chad on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno, with the match seen as a must-win clash to aid their qualification hopes.
In photos shared on social media, the team – led by captain Jordan Ayew – were seen touching base at the airport before moving to their hotel.

As part of their build-up, the Black Stars will hold a mandatory training session on Wednesday at the match venue, followed by a press conference with head coach Otto Addo.
Later in the afternoon, the squad will return for their final training session to sharpen tactics and make last-minute adjustments ahead of Thursday’s showdown.
Ghana will be aiming to secure maximum points to boost their qualification chances, with players such as Mohammed Kudus, Thomas Partey, and Antoine Semenyo expected to play pivotal roles in the fixture.
The Black Stars head into the tie determined to build momentum as the qualifiers heat up, knowing that every point will prove vital on the road to the 2026 World Cup.
The four-time participants at the World Cup currently lead Group I with 15 points and are hoping to maintain their place on the table as they aim to make it to USA, Mexico and Canada 2026.
