From the first whistle, Fatawu looked sharp, lively, and determined to make an impact.
His relentless pressing and pace led to Leicester’s opening goal after he forced an error and surged forward.
Though his initial pass to Bilal El Khannouss was overhit, the Moroccan showed great hustle to recover and block the clearance, allowing Jordan Ayew to volley home the loose ball.
Fatawu scores Messi-Like solo goal
Just minutes after helping create the first, Fatawu delivered a stunning solo effort to double Leicester’s lead.
Picking up the ball near the halfway line, he flicked it over two defenders, brought it down with ease, and raced into the box.
With composure and flair, he shaped his body and curled a beautiful finish into the far corner—leaving fans and teammates in awe.

The Foxes looked well-drilled under Marti Cifuentes, combining energetic pressing with fluid attacking play and solid defensive structure.
The line-up featured against Fiorentina is believed to closely resemble the XI Cifuentes will deploy in their Championship opener against Sheffield Wednesday.
