Antoine Semenyo once again proved why he is becoming a fan favourite at Bournemouth, opening the scoring in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Leeds United at Elland Road.

The Ghanaian striker played the full 90 minutes and delivered another lively performance that delighted the Cherries supporters.

His powerful 26th-minute free-kick flew through the Leeds wall and left Karl Darlow rooted, giving Bournemouth the lead. It was Semenyo’s fourth goal in five league matches this season, underlining his growing importance to Andoni Iraola’s team.

Leeds United hit back quickly, with Joe Rodon heading home from Sean Longstaff’s pinpoint corner before the break. Longstaff then hammered in a superb half-volley on 54 minutes to turn the game in the home side’s favour.

But Bournemouth refused to give in. Deep into stoppage time, Marcos Senesi rose to meet a free-kick and flicked the ball to Eli Junior Kroupi, who volleyed home a dramatic equaliser.

Bournemouth will play Fulham in their next league match on October 3rd.
