Ballon d’Or 2025 nominees
The 2025 Ballon d’Or shortlist, released on August 7, features a dazzling mix of world-class talent and emerging stars, promising one of the most competitive races in recent years.
Paris Saint-Germain dominate with Gianluigi Donnarumma, Désiré Doué, Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Nuno Mendes, João Neves, Fabián Ruiz,Vitinha, and Ousmane Dembélé, Who is considered the frontrunner to win the prestigious title, according to GOAL.
Real Madrid’s challenge comes via Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé, and Vinícius Júnior. Barcelona are represented by Robert Lewandowski, Pedri, Raphinha, and teenage sensation Lamine Yamal, who makes a strong case for this year’s award.
Other Premier League nominees include Arsenal duo Viktor Gyökeres and Declan Rice, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, and Liverpool’s Alexis Mac Allister, Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, and Florian Wirtz.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy, Napoli’s Scott McTominay, and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland also feature. Completing the lineup is Georgia’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, now shining in Paris. The race is now wide open for football’s top individual prize.
