Former Ghana international Bernard Mensah has completed a transfer to United Arab Emirates outfit Al-Nasr SC, agreeing to a two-year deal with the Pro League club.

The Dubai-based side confirmed the signing on Tuesday, August 19, through a statement on their official X account.

“Al-Nasr Football Club signs the Ghanaian player Bernard Mensah for two seasons. Every team needs rhythm and most importantly a Maestro. Welcome, Mensah, to Al-Nasr,” the announcement read.

The 30-year-old arrives after a productive spell in Saudi Arabia with Al-Tai, where he was a central figure in the team’s midfield.

His departure ends a two-year stay in the Saudi Pro League, during which he was recognised for his consistency and playmaking qualities.

The midfielder brings a wealth of experience to Al-Nasr, having previously represented clubs in three European countries.

He began his professional career with Vitória Guimarães in Portugal, later moved to Spain with Getafe, and enjoyed a long stint in Turkey, most notably captaining Kayserispor.
