A group of sympathisers, comprising seasoned music producer Kwame Mickey, has turned Bishop Osei Bonsu’s grave site into a tiny moment.

On September 10, 2025, Kwame Mickey shared his moments in Osei-Bonsu’s native hometown, Goaso, where he was buried.

He was accompanied by a few friends, family members and associates of Michael Osei Bonsu.

When they arrived at the cemetery, there was no trace of the singer’s grave.

After 18 years, it had been swallowed by weeds and heaps of earth. It took a great deal of excavation before the singer’s grave site was identified and renovated.

Kwame Mickey and his group mounted a concrete slab on the site. Bishop Osei Bonsu’s name, age, and a bible verse etched onto the concrete slab.

According to Kwame Mickey, he has always longed to honour the late gospel singer’s memory with his gesture.

The renowned producer got emotional as he shared a tribute in honour of the late singer.

Biography of Michael Osei Bonsu

Bishop Michael Osei Bonsu, with over 70 classics, was an icon in Ghana’s gospel music industry.

He was known for his distinct voice and signature accordion, which gleefully played in his songs, videos and performances.

His death brought up several allegations and conspiracies. While his children dragged his extended family to court over where he should be buried, rumours about his friend Pastor Love masterminding his death surfaced.

Pastor Love has vehemently denied the allegations despite his heated feud with the late singer before his death.

Williams, who was a contemporary of popular actress Nana Ama McBrown, died following a fatal car accident on the La-Nungua road near the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.

The actress was travelling in a Mitsubishi Pajero with her Liberian boyfriend, Edwin ‘Eastman’ Taylor, when their vehicle skidded off the road and overturned around 1:00 AM.
