Jordan Ayew shares emotional reunion with son Kiyan
In a touching video that surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), Ayew reunited with his son Kiyan.
The young boy had eagerly awaited his father’s arrival, his excitement catching the eye of fans who playfully called him a future Black Stars captain.
While Kiyan glowed with joy, his father’s expression remained calm and almost indifferent as supporters crowded around him at the Kotoka International Airport.
Yet, the bond between father and son shone through, offering a rare glimpse of the family side of the national team leader.

Still only a child, Kiyan is already drawing attention for his early promise with the ball.
In one training clip, he looked composed, moving through drills with impressive confidence for his age.
His close control, balance, and quick footwork hint at a natural gift that many believe is woven into the Ayew family tradition.
With a grandfather like Abedi Pele and uncles André and Rahim paving the way, the youngster has a strong football heritage to lean on if he chooses to follow the path.
Jordan turns attention to Black Stars duties
Away from the family spotlight, Jordan has endured a challenging spell with Leicester City in the Championship, failing to find the net in four matches.
Still, his struggles at the club level have been overshadowed by his remarkable contributions for Ghana. The 33-year-old has been the standout performer in the ongoing World Cup qualifiers.
He boasts nine goal involvements in six games, scoring five and setting up four, according to Flashscore.
His tally places him just one goal behind Egypt’s Mohamed Salah in the race for Africa’s top scorer in the qualifying series, while his assists make him the most creative player.
Jordan is expected to carry that same influence into Ghana’s upcoming fixtures.
The Black Stars face Chad in N’Djamena on September 4, before returning home to host Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 8.
Victory in both matches will move Ghana closer to sealing a fifth appearance at the World Cup.

Should Jordan lead his nation to qualification, he will mirror the achievement of his older brother André, who captained the side to the 2022 global showpiece.
