Bofowaa Queen Ciara has stirred sadness on social media after she shared a video mourning the recent death of her sister.

Ghanaian man of God Reverend Obofour, Bofowaa Ciara’s husband, announced the death of his sister-in-law during a sermon at his church, the Anointed Palace Chapel, on August 31, 2025.
Addressing his congregation, Reverend Obofour, whose real name is Francis Agyei Antwi, said his wife had lost her older sister.
He noted that Bofowaa’s sister, Felicity, had played a critical role in his life because she introduced them to each other.

Reverend Obofour described her as one of his best friends and said her death was a great tragedy for the family.
“I’ve been married for 15 years. We met because of her elder sister, who calls me Mr President. She’s the only one who has a name for me that no one else uses. Two days before today, God called her to his bosom,” he said.

Bofowaa Ciara mourns sister’s death
In a TikTok video seen by YEN.com.gh on Bofowaa Queen Ciara’s TikTok page, the popular preacher’s wife was distraught over her sister’s death.
She wept bitterly as she recounted the huge impact her sister had had on her life in the video which contained images of her late sibling.
“You brought so much light and warmth into my life, and your memory will forever be a treasure. It’s hard to say goodbye to you, sister. Your absence leaves a space that can never be filled. My heart holds a special place for you, forever and always.” Bofowaa Ciara wrote.

She added that she will carry her sister’s memory with her forever.
“City, I love you more than words can say, and I am so grateful for the life we shared. Thank you for being my first friend, my confidante, and my constant source of joy. I will carry your spirit and laughter in my heart forever, finding comfort in the memories we made,” she added.
In another video, Bofowaa decried the loss of other beloved relatives as she noted her sister’s loss followed the earlier deaths of both her mother and her father.
