The West Africa Football Union B (WAFU B) Zonal Executive Committee has postponed the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers to August 23–September 4, 2025, in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire.
Originally set for August 9, the shift allows organizers to finalize “critical organizational arrangements,” according to the WAFU B secretariat. The group stage draw date will be announced imminently.
Seven clubs will compete: Nigeria’s Bayelsa Queens, Ivory Coast’s ASEC Mimosas, Niger’s AS Garde Nationale du Niger, Burkina Faso’s USFA, Togo’s ASKO, Benin’s Sam Nelly, and Ghana’s Police Ladies.
Meanwhile, the WAFU A zonal qualifiers proceed as planned from August 5–17 in Senegal, featuring five nations.
