A truck driver came under fire after he decided to stop his vehicle in the middle of a busy road to urinate at the side of his truck.

In a video spotted on social media, the truck driver was seen surrounded by a crowd of concerned individuals and an on-duty MTTD (Motor Traffic and Transport Department) police officer.
In addition to his actions sparking widespread public condemnation online, the crowd in the video could be seen confronting the yet-to-be-identified truck driver for his act of public indecency and disregard for traffic laws.
Truck driver confronted for public urination
The clip was captured by a pedestrian, and some onlookers who could be heard in the background expressing their disgust and disbelief. Some were shouting and calling for the driver’s immediate arrest.
Their calls were met with action from an MTTD officer who was on the scene. The officer was captured in the CCTV footage taking control of the situation and was supported by the public.
Calls of “Arrest him!” and “You’re right, officer!” could be heard throughout the clip.
Individuals caught in such an act can be arrested and placed in custody. Suspects could also be liable to pay fines or face imprisonment for up to six months or more, or both.
The driver is expected to face charges related to public nuisance and traffic violations.

Kennedy Agyapong arrests hit-and-run truck driver
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Kennedy Agyapong led a citizen’s arrest after witnessing a fatal hit-and-run in the Central Region.
The former Assin Central MP chased down the truck driver and handed him over to police at Assin Manso.
The incident happened while Agyapong was returning from a TESCON event at the University of Cape Coast.
