MC Portfolio compares Daddy Lumba, Michael Jackson

Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu, is one of Ghana’s most revered musicians, with a career spanning over three decades and a catalogue of hits that have shaped Ghanaian highlife music.

His music is known for blending traditional rhythms with modern sounds, and he continues to enjoy a loyal fan base locally and abroad.

Michael Jackson, on the other hand, remains a global pop icon with unmatched commercial success. MC Portfolio’s comments appear to centre more on local influence than international acclaim.

However, the entertainment commentator referred to Daddy Lumba as the ‘Greatest of All Time’ (GOAT), citing his influence, longevity, and ability to resonate deeply with Ghanaians across generations.

Speaking further, he pleaded with the government to prepare for a dignified, state-assisted burial in Kumasi when the time comes. He stressed that they only needed to make this possible, not fund it entirely.
