Daddy Lumba’s family has indicated that the renowned Highlife musician has opened up about the number of children he left behind.

In an interview on Monday, August 4, 2025, the family stated that he had 11 children, including a set of twins.

Following his passing on Saturday, July 26, 2025, Daddy Lumba’s family visited the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, to inform him of the musician’s passing.

During their interactions with the media, the paternal family of Daddy Lumba indicated that Aben Wo Ha hitmaker had 11 children with four different women, including his Germany-based wife, Akosua Serwaa, and Priscilla Ofori Atta, a.k.a. Odo Broni.

The head of Lumba’s paternal family, who described himself as a brother to the late musician’s father, Johnson Kwadwo Fosu, of blessed memory, explained that Lumba had four children with Akosua Serwaa, five children, including a set of twins with Odo Broni, and one each from two other women.

“All his children are 11. We know 11 for now, with four women. He had four with his first wife and five children, including twins, with the woman he lives with currently. We also two women with one child each,” he said.

He declared that while the 11 children were the ones they knew now, they were open to receiving other children if any existed anywhere.

“If anybody comes to claim to be the child of Daddy Lumba, we will investigate and accept them. Once our investigations confirm, we will not make any arguements because we like more people in the family,” he added.
