Veteran highlife musician Daddy Lumba’s daughters, Charlyn and Ciara Fosu, have courted attention after a video of them in their late father’s residence surfaced on social media.

On Friday, July 1, 2025, the late musician’s children and their family members, including their mother, Akosua Serwaa, and their stepmother, Priscilla Ofori Atta, met prominent personalities like former President Nana Akufo-Addo, who visited their house to commiserate with them and sign the book of condolences.

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, Charlyn and Ciara Fosu were bonding with socialite Amanda Agyapong, the wife of business mogul Kennedy Agyapong, who was a close friend of their late father, Daddy Lumba.

Charlyn and Ciara Fosu’s appearance with Amanda Agyapong comes a few days after they arrived in Ghana from Germany, where they have been based for most of many years.

Daddy Lumba’s daughters arrived at night from Germany and were welcomed at Kotoka International Airport by their late friend’s close friend and business mogul, Kennedy Agyapong (Kenpong).

Not much is known about Charlyn and Ciara Fosu, despite being the children of the late musician, who was widely known in Ghana and on the international scene.

Daddy Lumba’s death and aftermath

Daddy Lumba passed away at 60 on Saturday, July 26, 2025. He died from a short illness while he was on admission at the Bank Hospital in Cantonments, Accra, for treatment.

Lumba’s sister weeps during her arrival

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Daddy Lumba’s sister wept as she arrived at her brother’s house, days after he died at 60 following a short illness.

In a viral video, Ernestina Fosu, popularly known as Akosua Brempongmaa, was consoled by some individuals as she mourned her late brother immediately after arriving at his residence in East Legon.

Daddy Lumba’s sister also needed assistance from people to enter the house, as she was weakened by her constant grief.
