Legendary Ghanaian highlife musician Daddy Lumba’s family members have returned to Ghana after his death.

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, the music icon’s relatives, including his sister and his children, Calvin Kwadwo Fosu, Nana Ama Denise, and Junior, were spotted mourning his loss at his residence.

Daddy Lumba’s family was presented with a live painting intended to be a birthday gift, which the musician had previously planned to claim before his untimely death.

An unidentified lady, who stood in the presence of the family, noted that she had sent a photo of the late musician to an artist to create a live painting during his last birthday celebration.

She noted that she and Daddy Lumba’s family had wanted to surprise him with the live painting at the birthday party.

However, he complained about some health issues he was experiencing to his close friend, Twum Barimah, and left the event during his performance.

The lady noted that Daddy Lumba also expressed his appreciation for the painting and promised to come for it before he sadly passed away.

The footage of the family being presented with the live painting triggered mixed reactions from netizens.

Daddy Lumba’s two older children, Calvin Kwadwo Fosu and Nana Ama Denise, recently arrived from abroad to mourn their father’s death.

The children, whom the musician shared with his first wife, Akosua Serwaa, were seen with their late father’s former teacher from Juaben Senior High School and mentor, Mama Acheampong.
