Media personality and pastor Maame Yeboah Asiedu a.k.a. Reverend Maame has cautioned Ghanaians to desist from chastising Akosua Serwaa, Daddy Lumba’s first wife.

Akosua Serwaa, who was based in Germany, arrived in Ghana shortly after Daddy Lumba’s passing on July 26, 2025.

Since her arrival, Akosua Serwaa has been the target of numerous hate comments. Some netizens believe she abandoned Daddy Lumba when he was ill.

According to Maame Gold, the hostility against Akosua Serwaa is unfair. In her submission, she recounted how Akosua Serwaa suffered after Daddy Lumba decided to leave abroad and relocate to Ghana.

“The trend of women dragging their fellow women down in circumstances is frustrating. Staying abroad is not easy. That woman should even be appreciated,” she said.
