Apirede Developers and Broll Ghana have opened Forest Hill Wellness Resort & Estate, a 650-acre residential and hospitality development targeting affluent buyers and diaspora investors.
The project occupies scenic terrain in the Akwapim Hills outside Accra.
The development combines residential plots with resort amenities including a luxury spa, retail plaza, cultural center and golf course. Walking trails and recreational facilities integrate throughout the site, emphasizing wellness and outdoor lifestyle elements.
Daniel David Hammond, head of brokerage at Broll Ghana, positioned the estate as addressing demand for secure titled land with lifestyle amenities. “Forest Hill presents a rare opportunity for discerning buyers to secure prime serviced plots within a development designed for exclusivity, wellness, and long-term value,” he said.
Diaspora interest has driven early sales, according to project officials who cite security and legal certainty as key attractions. Buyers value titled land ownership alongside amenities typically unavailable in Ghana’s residential market.
Selassie Sebuafor, sales director at Apirede Developers, emphasized flexible payment arrangements for diverse buyer profiles. The company targets local, diaspora and international clients through tailored financing options and streamlined purchase processes.
The masterplan emerged from collaboration between South Africa’s Tsai Design Studio and Ghana’s Mobius Architecture. Developers aimed to balance international design standards with local cultural elements while maintaining environmental sensitivity.
Discussions continue with international hospitality brands for a signature resort component within the estate. This addition could enhance property values while establishing the development as a tourism destination beyond residential use.
Apirede Developers, founded in 2023, focuses on master-planned communities emphasizing sustainability and lifestyle integration. Broll Ghana brings established expertise in property sales, valuation and estate management since its 2006 establishment.
The project represents growing interest in premium residential developments serving Ghana’s expanding middle class and diaspora investment community. Titled land remains scarce in desirable locations, creating opportunities for well-positioned developments.
Forest Hill targets buyers seeking alternatives to urban living while maintaining proximity to Accra’s business district. The Akwapim Hills location provides cooler temperatures and scenic views while remaining accessible to the capital.
Early marketing emphasizes wellness and community elements distinguishing the project from conventional residential estates. Amenities support active lifestyles while cultural programming aims to create social connections among residents.
The development reflects broader trends in African real estate where luxury projects increasingly incorporate lifestyle and wellness components to justify premium pricing and attract international investment.
