Ghanaian disc jockey and multiple award-winning talent, Kwesi Arhin Assan, popularly known as DJ Spincho, has been crowned DJ of the Year at the maiden edition of the African Business & Entertainment Awards 2025.
The event was held on 9th August 2025 in Accra, Ghana, celebrating outstanding individuals in both the business and entertainment industries across Africa.DJ Spincho beat stiff competition from: DJ Wenzday, DJ Coba, DJ Scratch Official, DJ Linking, DJ Black Eye, DJ LB, DJ Holy Lion, DJ Kelly, DJ Rasky.
Overwhelmed with gratitude, DJ Spincho took to the stage to thank his loyal fan base, family, friends, and the organizers of the awards, acknowledging their support throughout his journey.
Currently, DJ Spincho holds the record as the first Ghanaian mixtape DJ to reach 100,000 followers and over 25.4 million total plays on Audiomack. His consistency and unique style have earned him multiple awards and nominations both locally and internationally
