Dr Bawumia Looks Splendid in White Kaftan As He Joins Safo Kantanka’s Birthday Celebration

Former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, attended the birthday celebration of Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, the founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission and popular Ghanaian industrialist.

The man of God and industrialist was born on August 26, 1948, and marked his 77th birthday in a grand ceremony.

In a video on X, Dr Bawumia was seen wearing a white kaftan. When he arrived at the birthday celebration, the NPP 2024 flagbearer waved at the crowd as he made his way to greet the celebrant.

Dr Bawumia, walking majestically, shook hands with some of the people present and waved to the larger crowd.

One of the people he shook hands with was former Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya, Sarah Adjoa Safo.

The former MP is also the first child of the popular Ghanaian industrialist. She was enstooled as leader of the Kantanka family.

She was dressed in a regal attire and stood under a huge umbrella held by another person over her head.

She moved a step closer to exchange pleasantries with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia when he got near her.

The master of the ceremony gave Dr Bawumia accolades as he walked to greet Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.

Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka’s 77 birthday celebration was held on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
