In a video trending on social media, the late Defence Minister was captured arriving at the Ghana Military Academy with his entourage.
According to the video, he was embarking on a familiarisation tour at the facility and had arrived at about 8 am on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
For his final goodbye, the renowned politician was dressed in white as he sat by the window of the aircraft to wave goodbye at his bodyguards, who unfortunately could not join the flight since there was no space.
“Dressed in all-white, the Minister asked his bodyguards at the Ministry’s caravan to stay behind, there wasn’t enough space on the helicopter. With a signature smile, he shook hands with the crew and waved as the chopper took off. Little did he know it would be his final wave,” the TV3 narrator said.
