In a remarkable collaboration, the Miss Tourism Ghana Organization has partnered with Dreams College of Creative Arts to elevate this year’s national costume for the Miss International Africa Beauty Peagent 2025 to new heights.
This year, the stunning costume dubbed “Osagyefo’s Golden Ghana”, designed by Wemegah Sa Selina Sefenya, a talented Dreams College scholar, graced the international stage.
Selina, who was awarded a full tuition scholarship from Dreams College for her innovative and viral WASSCE project, reimagined her design to embody the essence of Ghana. Inspired by the architectural grandeur of the Kwame Nkrumah Museum and the country’s lush landscapes, the costume beautifully blends Ghanaian kente cloth, vibrant colors of the national flag, and regal embellishments. The ensemble is completed with a traditional cowrie shell bracelet and a regal tekua headpiece, symbolizing Ghana’s unity and prosperity.
This partnership showcases Dreams College’s commitment to nurturing creativity and advancing the design industry in Ghana. We extend our best wishes to Portia Akua Mensah our national representative,, as she carries the Ghanaian flag with pride on the global stage. This collaboration is a prove to the transformative power of education and creative innovation.
Dreams College of Creative Arts continues to pave the way for young talents like Selina, proving that Ghana’s legacy is not only preserved but also reimagined for the future.
