Drogba is reportedly battling a severe health condition known as debilitating demyelinating disease, leading to symptoms like weakness, numbness, vision problems, and loss of coordination.
Last year, the once viral actor reportedly received spiritual healing from the leader of the Christ Embassy Airport City Youth Church (CECY), Pastor Enoch Ofori Boamah, at his Friday Night miracle service on August 30, 2024.
He was seen in videos testifying that he had been healed from his medical condition.
Drogba denies being completely healed
In a recent interview with DJ Slim on the Streets is Watching podcast, Drogba noted that much of what the public knows about his healing miracle from last year was inaccurate.
Drogba explained that while he felt slightly better after the miracle service, his condition did not immediately go away.
He emphasised that what he experienced after the miracle was progressive healing and not an instant cure.
According to Drogba, he is still far from a full recovery. Unfortunately, donations to his $280k fundraiser have stalled following the inaccurate reports about his condition.
Ghanaians empathise with Drogba
