• Prophet Jedidiah Henry Kore, alias Fire Oja, has clarified reports that he owns a luxury Range Rover
  • The viral televangelist, in a recent interview with Joy Prime, said he no longer has the car
  • He said that the car he lost the vehicle two years ago, hence his call on John Dramani Mahama for prophets who may end up working for the state

Fire Oja has dismissed claims that he owns multiple luxury vehicles as Ghanaians review his recent request to President Mahama to provide transportation allowances.

According to Fire Oja, several reports tagging him as the owner of a Range Rover are inaccurate.

In an interview with Joy Prime, Fire Oja established that he is no longer in possession of the car, which many have seen him flaunting several times on social media.

Speaking to Joy Prime, Fire Oja claimed that he sold the customised Range Rover two years ago to “purchase a land for God”.

Fire Oja insisted in his interview with Joy Prime that he saw nothing wrong with his request to John Mahama.

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. I don’t have a car. I’m not the only one without a car. We have a lot of prophets who don’t have cars. SO if the government wants us to do what they want, they have to at least provide fuel so we can deliver the message to them,” he said.

What does Fire Oja want from John Mahama?

The Holiness of Christ founder, Fire Oja, has urged John Dramani Mahama to provide fuel allowances for prophets.

His request was in response to a statement from the Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations in the wake of the helicopter crash on August 6, which killed three military officers and five top government executives.

The statement explained that it wanted prophecies about political leaders, governance, and national security, among others, and called for prayers following the helicopter crash.

Two cabinet ministers, Defence Minister Dr Edward Omane Boamah and Environment, Science and Technology Minister Dr Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, were among the eight who died in the helicopter crash at Adansi Akrofuom.

Other high government officials on the flight were former Obuasi East parliamentary candidate Samuel Aboagye, Deputy National Security Coordinator Limuna Muniru, and National Democratic Congress Vice Chairman Dr Samuel Sarpong.

The three crew members, Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah, Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, and Flying Officer Manin Twum-Ampadu, also lost their lives.

Captain Smart defends Prophet Roja

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Ghanaian broadcaster Blessed Godsbrain Smart, widely known as Captain Smart, had addressed what he claims as unfair attacks on Prophet Roja.

The prophet is believed to be one of the several religious figures who claimed to have foreseen the tragic helicopter crash that happened on August 6.

Captain Smart questioned if the man of God disrespected anyone with his remarks and seemed surprised that no one close to the Minister drew his attention to the preacher’s call.
