New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, has cautioned his fellow contenders in the party’s flagbearer race against the use of insults.
He warned that such conduct undermines party unity and could weaken the NPP’s chances in the 2028 general elections.
Speaking on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem, Dr Adutwum said aspirants confident of victory should focus on issues rather than personal attacks.
“If you know you are going to win, you won’t insult other aspirants, because you will need them and their supporters to win the general elections,” he stated.
“You can lose the main elections if party members feel alienated,” he added.
The aspirant further stressed that neither he nor his campaign team would engage in political slander, noting that his focus remains on national development and the welfare of Ghanaians.
“None of my communicators is allowed to insult other aspirants. It undermines our vision,” Dr. Adutwum emphasised.
