President John Dramani Mahama is set to address the nation tonight at 8 PM, following the tragic helicopter crash that occurred on Wednesday, August 8, 2025.

This was disclosed by Interior Minister, Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak, who has been assigned additional responsibility for National Security by President Mahama.

The tragic incident, which took place in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region, claimed the lives of eight prominent statesmen, including the Defence Minister, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, and the Minister for Environment, Science, Technology, and Innovation, Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed.
