The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) will conduct essential maintenance on July 14, 2025, causing temporary outages in parts of Western, Tema, and Greater Accra regions.
The works aim to enhance nationwide power reliability and strengthen distribution infrastructure.
In the Western Region, two phases will occur:

Vienna City, Mankessim White House, and Accra Station areas from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Daboase, Sekyere Krobo, Sekyere Nsuta, Aboaboso, and Bosomase from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Tema Region will experience outages from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm affecting Mobole, Ataa Mensah, Boishe, Afienya, Philip Kope, and Greenhouse Enclave.
Greater Accra disruptions (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) will impact Kings Cottage, Guinness Depot, Timber Market, Adedenkpo, West Coast Beverages, Intelligent Card Products, and Eskay Pharmaceutical.
ECG apologized for inconveniences, emphasizing these upgrades will improve long-term service delivery. Residents and businesses in affected zones should prepare alternative power arrangements during specified windows.
