Multiple award-winning Ghanaian musician, KiDi, known in private life as Dennis Nana Dwamena, has made a bold yet hilarious declaration about Ghanaian men. According to the “Say You Love Me” hitmaker, Ghanaian men are faithful by nature and do not cheat on their partners.
Speaking in an interview with Doreen Avio and Kwame Dadzie on Hitz FM, KiDi was asked whether he had ever cheated in a relationship. To the surprise of many fans, the self-styled “Sugar Daddy” calmly responded that he had never been unfaithful.
“No, I haven’t cheated on my partner before,” he said with laughter, adding, “I am a faithful black man; Ghanaian men don’t cheat. The Ghanaian men here,” he continued, pointing to the men in the studio, “can attest to it that we don’t cheat.”
Pushing the humor further, KiDi jokingly explained that any Ghanaian man who cheats must not be entirely Ghanaian. “If a Ghanaian man cheats, then maybe he has something else inside him” he teased, sending the studio into laughter.

His comments on faithfulness may have drawn laughter, but the conversation soon shifted when KiDi was asked if he personally considers himself a romantic person. Interestingly, Kidi, often perceived as the ladies’ man because of his music and public image, gave a rather unexpected response.
“I don’t actually think I’m romantic in real life,” he admitted. “I might have love in my heart, but I’m not the type to stand under a lady’s window singing sweet songs.”
According to him, what people often interpret as romance is simply his ability to connect with others on an emotional level. “I know how to express myself, communicate well, and give good advice, especially in relationships. Maybe that’s why people think I’m romantic,” he added with a smile.
