Ghanaian actor Gideon Kojo Boakye has been nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the African Movie Academy Awards  (AMAA) 2025, earning recognition for his standout performance in Two of a Kind.

Kojo Boakye, a seasoned screen and stage performer, has steadily built a reputation for excellence across film, television, and theatre. A graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics, Kojo has seamlessly transitioned his analytical precision into the art of acting — a craft he approaches with discipline, depth, and dedication.

His growing portfolio includes acclaimed Ghanaian and Nollywood productions such as Gold Coast Lounge, Single and Not Searching, Nine, and Pawn.
