Nigerian reality star Tacha has officially been confirmed by Guinness World Records as the new record holder for the Most Cosmetic Makeovers in 24 Hours by an Individual (144) and Most Cosmetic Makeovers in 8 Hours by an Individual (82).
The announcement was made today on Guinness World Records’ official social media channels, cementing her achievement.
The marathon challenge, which took place at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture & History in Lagos, saw Tacha complete makeovers on 145 models of diverse body types and skin tones, including influencers Mitchy, Venita Akpofure, Wanni, and Handi. Despite minor technical hitches, including a brief power outage, she maintained a rapid pace, showcasing her skill and versatility under pressure.
Each transformation was documented with professional headshots and runway showcases as part of the Tacha Beauty Festival, which served as the backdrop for the record attempt. The event attracted a host of celebrities and public figures, including Toke Makinwa, Dabota Lawson, Ice Prince, Slimcase, and Idris Aregbe, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism.
