Now, after scoring twice in Bayern’s latest Bundesliga victory, Kane made his intentions clear, as featured by Goal.
Tottenham open to Harry Kane’s return
Kane moved from Spurs to Bayern in 2023 and has since scored 100 goals in just 104 appearances, setting a record in both the club and Europe’s top five leagues, according to Sports Mole. Speculation about a potential return to North London in 2026 has been welcomed by Tottenham manager Thomas Frank.
Frank said he believes many Spurs fans, including himself, would be thrilled to see Kane back in the squad. He added that while Kane is performing exceptionally well at Bayern, it makes sense for him to enjoy his time in Germany and continue building his career there.
Nonetheless, Frank also emphasized that the Bundesliga goal machine would always be welcomed if he decided to rejoin Tottenham.

Following Frank’s remarks, Bayern sporting director Max Eberl appeared cautious when discussing Kane’s future, despite the striker having two years left on his contract.
Eberl explained that Kane is at a stage in his career where he can make his own decisions, with or without a release clause. He added that Bayern hopes to achieve continued success with Harry Kane but acknowledged that ultimately the choice rests with the player.
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old, who has also been linked with Barcelona and Manchester United, addressed questions about his future after Bayern’s 4-0 win over Werder Bremen on September 26. The 470-goal striker made it clear that he is happy at the club and fully committed to his current project.
Harry Kane particularly pointed out he is not thinking about returning to England and is focused on enjoying his remaining time with the German powerhouse, working with the coach, and helping the team continue its success.
Fans react to Kane’s rumoured Tottenham return
In the meantime, Kane’s comments have sparked a mix of excitement and disappointment among football supporters on social media. Many Bayern fans praised him for his loyalty and commitment, with one saying Kane is exactly the kind of player every club wants to keep.
