Ottobi Entertainment, through its youth empowerment platform Made By Youth, is celebrating five outstanding innovators across Ghana and Africa in commemoration of African Youth Day on November 1st.

This year’s campaign, themed “Africa’s Bold Generation of Innovators,” honors young Africans who are redefining creativity, leadership, and innovation across industries.

“This year, as we focus on the theme ‘Africa’s Bold Generation of Innovators,’ let’s be reminded that we’re not just the future — we’re shaping Africa today. Celebrating this day matters because it’s a moment to recognize our creativity, resilience, and impact as young Africans driving change across the continent,” said Joseph Kwateng, Project Lead, Made by Youth.

African Youth Day remains one of the continent’s most under-celebrated yet significant occasions — an opportunity to recognize the creativity, resilience, and groundbreaking work of young Africans shaping both the present and future of the continent.

In marking this year’s edition, Made By Youth is spotlighting remarkable young changemakers including Gordon Kofi Fay, Akosua Naana Lexis Obenewaa Opoku-Agyemang, Raymond Smith, Zulaiha Dobia Abdullah, Frederick Mattey, and RCEE — each representing Africa’s unstoppable spirit of innovation and creativity.

To bring African Youth Day to life, Ottobi Entertainment, through Made By Youth, has rolled out three key media initiatives across multiple platforms:

• A Documentary – “Africa’s Bold Generation of Innovators,” premiering on YFM and digital platforms, capturing inspiring stories of young Africans redefining leadership and impact.

• A Special TV Feature – airing on Lifestyle TV, showcasing the creativity and achievements of young innovators across various sectors.

• A Live Webinar – streaming on ItsFuse TV, OnePlay Africa (YouTube), and social media, featuring thought leaders, creators, and entrepreneurs discussing resilience, digital transformation, and youth empowerment.

These activities align with Made By Youth’s broader mission to empower young people through storytelling, visibility, and shared learning experiences. The platform continues to:

• Spotlight African Youth Day and its relevance to today’s generation.

• Inspire young Africans through relatable, real success stories.

• Strengthen Made By Youth’s position as a leading youth empowerment brand.

• Drive meaningful conversations around innovation, skills, and resilience across the continent.

As Africa continues to evolve rapidly, Made By Youth believes that celebrating African Youth Day is not just a tradition — it is a declaration of Africa’s unstoppable spirit of creativity, innovation, and excellence.
