She explained that the dream was so unsettling that the family had to unite in prayer and even seek the assistance of priests to avert the danger Peter had foreseen.

“Just months before his passing, Peter traveled to the United Kingdom to support his lovely wife as they welcomed their first child, a precious blessing whose Christian name was set for October. Before his return, he confided in his mother about a troubling dream, and together we sought God’s protection through prayers with priests and family.”

The reader, who became teary at this point, recalled the anguish the family felt when the news reached them that their beloved relative had died months after the dream.

“An unexplained restlessness kept us awake in prayer for the family. That morning, we sent Peter our usual devotion and a message: How are you, my love? Stay safe and blessed in the Lord Jesus Christ. When there was no reply, fear gripped us. Later, the devastating truth reached us. Our worst fears had come to pass. Though our hearts are broken beyond words, we surrender to God’s will, trusting that He knows best.
