For gospel powerhouse Piesie Esther, success in music is not just about talent or hard work, it’s also about the quiet sacrifices made by the man she calls her biggest supporter: her husband.

In a conversation with Roselyn Felli on Joy Prime’s Changes show, the multiple award-winning singer revealed why she chose her husband to manage her career instead of hiring someone else. She said her comfort and confidence largely come from his presence.

“I am more comfortable and on the safe side with him. I am so attached to him that even if I go somewhere without him, he knows I won’t be able to continue unless he is there. Not that I can’t do it on my own, but I’m used to him being around. He is part of me, and there is nothing bad in it,” she explained.

Interestingly, her husband’s background has nothing to do with the entertainment industry. With a master’s degree in procurement, he was on a different career path before setting it aside to support her ministry. Over the years, he has taught himself videography and now produces all of Piesie Esther’s music videos and creative content.

“He doesn’t have any videography background at all. He studied procurement. But he is the one behind all my videos. Sometimes when I travel without him, I don’t take videos because when others take them, I just delete them, they don’t look good. But my husband always makes sure he learns new things. Sometimes I am amazed at what he does,” she said with admiration.

Piesie Esther admitted that it sometimes troubles her that her husband had to abandon his own professional journey, but she believes God has blessed her ministry through his devotion and sacrifice.

Her story is more than just about music; it’s about partnership, teamwork, and the hidden sacrifices that often go unnoticed. For her, her husband isn’t just a manager — he’s the anchor that keeps her career and calling grounded.
