Ghanaian reggae and dancehall star Samini has urged young musicians to focus on long-term investments, highlighting land ownership as a key wealth-building strategy.
He made the comments during an interview on the Daybreak Hitz show on Hitz FM.
“That was one of the things I used to do,” Samini said, referring to his personal investments in land.

Samini further noted that while young artistes may be tempted to spend their earnings on luxury items, investing in property provides stability and security for the future. He encouraged upcoming musicians to plan ahead and make financial choices that will benefit them long after their music careers peak.
“If you are listening to me as a young artiste, though you see the flashy things, you like the flashy things, some of it is good for your branding and everything, but do things in moderation. Some of the money in your way, if you don’t know what to do with it, buy land,” he shared.
