A young Ghanaian man who graduated from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) works as a construction labrourer since he could not find any other that matches his qualification.
The young man who did not say his name indicated that he was proud of the job he was doing, even though it was tedious.

In an Instagram video, the young graduate said he completed his tertiary education two years ago but has not got any white collar job hence his job as a construction labrourer.
He described himself as a ‘foundation expert.’ He said he digs foundations, manholes, among others.
“I’m also a graduate, two years now. But you see, when you come out, there is nothing like ‘my certificate or your degree or first class student.’ It is about: ‘What can you do?’
He encouraged yet to be graduates not to trust people on their promises of getting them jobs but rather find their own jobs.
“So I’m pleading with those of you who are about to graduate, have it at the back of your mind. I believe by now you have a whole lot of promises. After National Service, I will get you a job. It’s all red flags and 419. Have it in mind that it’s not as you think. Schooling is just like the marketplace, who purchase your goods.”
“As for me, I am proud I am doing this work. I can’t tell whether it’s temporal or permanent. We pray to see what will happen. For now, I am a foundation expert. I dig foundation, manhole, filling, and carrying blocks from one place to the other. This is what we call man must eat. I believe that at the right time, things will work,” he added.
