Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana lit up Sunday’s Serie A clash with a brilliant display, scoring his first goal for Atalanta and adding an assist in their commanding 3-0 win over Torino at the Stadio Olimpico.

The 23-year-old’s man-of-the-match performance proved decisive as the Bergamo side secured another crucial victory in the Italian top flight.

Atalanta opened the scoring on the half-hour mark when Montenegrin striker Nikola Krstovic latched onto a clever pass from Serbian playmaker Lazar Samardzic to hand the visitors a deserved lead.

Just four minutes later, Sulemana displayed his attacking instinct, pouncing on a loose ball in the box to double Atalanta’s advantage.

The Ghanaian’s precise finish left the Torino goalkeeper helpless, securing his first goal since joining the club this summer.

Moments later, Sulemana turned creator, teeing up Krstovic for his second goal of the game to seal the result before halftime.

The Black Stars winger caused constant problems for Torino’s defence with his blistering pace, skill, and direct runs.

His standout performance is a major boost for Atalanta’s Serie A ambitions and timely news for Ghana, with coach Otto Addo keeping a close eye on him ahead of next month’s international fixtures.
