Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay has publicly expressed her gratitude to Shatta Wale for what she described as an extraordinary act of generosity.
In a post on X, the “Too Late” hitmaker revealed that Shatta Wale had given up all his mechanical rights on their collaborative songs Stevie Wonder and H.I.T to her label, RuffTown Records.

“I witnessed something yesterday and I still cannot believe it. @shattawalegh gave all his Mechanical Rights on my songs Stevie Wonder and H.I.T to Rufftown Records. I don’t know how many people can show such kindness in this industry. A king for a reason. More blessings King. #SM4LIFE,” she wrote.

Wendy Shay is not the only one to commend Shatta Wale’s generosity. Music producer Nawtyboi Tattoo also revealed on X that the dancehall star had given him up to 80% of the mechanical rights on certain songs, a blessing he will remain “forever grateful” for.
