Anibok Studios is proud to announce the highly anticipated release of its feature film, KING OF T3MA, premiering on November 14, 2025 with a red-carpet event at Silverbird Cinemas (Accra Mall & West Hills Mall). The film will also premiere in Kumasi (Golden Eagle Cinemas) and Cape Coast (Toppiard Center), with additional screenings in Tema.

More than a movie, KING OF T3MA is a representation of who we are and our identity. Set in Ghana’s bustling harbor city, the film confronts themes of loyalty, betrayal, and power, capturing the heartbeat of Tema while telling a story that resonates on a global stage.

Directed by Kobina de Graft-Johnson, KING OF T3MA brings together an extraordinary cast. Veteran actor Kingsley Yamoah stars as King, delivering a commanding performance that anchors the film. He is joined by legendary Ghanaian actor Fred Amugi as Alhaji, rising star David “Big Tim” Osabutey as Paa Kwesi, and a powerful ensemble including Melvin Dain, Naya Pratt, Karl Sackeyfio, Brian Angels, Nana Sam Sackeyfio, and Kweku Elliott.

Director’s Statement

“KING OF T3MA is not just a story about crime; it is a story about Ghana, about Tema, about us,” says Kobina de Graft-Johnson. “It captures our struggles and our resilience, our darkness and our light. This film is proof that Ghanaian stories belong on the global stage.”

The Sound of KING OF T3MA

The film’s atmosphere is elevated by its bold soundtrack. Tema native White Gold, who has collaborated with Eminem on multiple Billboard-charting tracks, brings international credibility. Award-winning composer Pascal Aka (known for scoring Black Rose, Heaven For Two, and Accra Film Festival winners) provides the original score. Together, they craft a soundscape that blends Ghana’s underground hip-hop energy with world-class production.
