The person who led Festus Owusu Badu to swear the oath said that the lawyer would take an oath before all of the church’s General Councils and members to lead the church until a substantive one is appointed.

After taking the oath, he was helped by two elderly men to sit in a huge chair, which possibly signifies his ascension to the leadership role.

Apostle Kojo Safo’s children and other family members, led by Adjoa Safo, were present. They walked up to the newly sworn-in leader to congratulate him and express their support.

Afterwards, other members of the church congratulated their new leader, Festus Owusu Badu.
