Ghanaian televangelist and the leader of the Anointed Palace Chapel, Prophet Kumchacha has commented on the recent protest staged by disgruntled members of the Resurrection Power Generation Church.

On Sunday September 7, 2025, the members stormed the church premises wileding placards to express their displeasure with the church’s management.
Some inscriptions on the placards read: “No account, no preaching,” “Boat and Naa must go,” “We need accountability and auditors,” and “The youth must stand for the church,” among others.
The voice of a man could also be heard blaring through speakers at the premises as he lamented the poor state of the church since the passing of the founder, Rev. Anthony Kwadwo Boakye, in 2023.
According to Kumchacha the late Anthony Kwadwo Boakye’s spirit would lament at the current state of the church.

In his video, Kumchacha noted that Anthony Kwadwo Boakye wife was the original founder of the church.
The woman’s soul and Spirit is broken. She’s crying on the church. if the leaders. She started the church before her husband came. If the leaders dont appease her, things will get worse.
