This comes after Sarkodie’s successful Rapperholic concert at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on September 27, 2025.
This was the first time Sarkodie was hosting his annual Raperhoic experience in Kumasi after over ten years in Accra.
However, fans turned up in their numbers to support Sarkodie. Shatta Wale was among several artistes billed to perform at the show.
According to Kwaku Manu, the traction Sarkodie has got before, during and after Rapperholic in Kumasi is enough justification that the city is ready for mega shows.
The renowned actor, in a recent video making the rounds online, challenged the narrative that the Ashanti Regional capital was not viable for entertainment activities of that scale as compared to Accra.
“Sark tried it and it worked. When you do the same, it will also work. It has already worked. Kumasi has proven that when you guys come, the fans will come too. I’ll entreat Shatta Wale to host a concert in Kumasi this Christmas,” Kwaku Manu told Shatta Wale.
The renowned actor also charged other big musicians, including Stonebwoy, to consider bringing more shows to Kumasi.
