The celebration caused a stir after reports claimed that dwarves and blonde escorts had been part of the entertainment.
By August, the rumours gained momentum when the pair went public during Nicole’s 25th birthday, posting photos together that left fans buzzing, as cited by ESPN on X.
Their romance, however, quickly came under scrutiny. Spanish tabloids hinted at a breakup just 13 days later, fuelling gossip that the fling was over almost as soon as it began.
Yamal himself seemed to put those whispers to rest in a playful video shared by teammate Nico Williams.
In the clip, the young forward proudly showed Nicole as his phone’s screensaver, with Williams joking, “Mi chaval está in love” — which means, “My son is in love,” per Barca Universal.

For the first time, Nicole has opened up publicly about her feelings. Speaking during the Desigual fashion show, the rapper beamed with joy.
“I am very in love, very happy and very happy. I am very happy, very happy in Barcelona, with a lot of affection from the people and I want to thank everyone,” she said, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
“It’s my first time in a Desigual show. I’m very happy. It means everything. First for the invitation, second because I’m with incredible stars that I admire very much and I really want to meet.”
Nicole, born Nicole Denise Cucco, also revealed that Yamal has been teaching her Catalan, a gesture that suggests their bond runs deeper than casual affection.
The rapper’s love life has been in the spotlight before. In 2024, she was linked to Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández during his brief split from long-term partner Valentina Cervantes.
Fernández has since reconciled with Cervantes, putting those rumours to rest.
For now, Nicole’s focus appears firmly on her relationship with Yamal, a pairing that continues to fascinate fans.
