In a recent video expressing his frustrations about Emelia Brobbey and Sandra Ababio’s interview on the Okukuseku show on YouTube, Lil Win criticised his colleagues.
“I won’t allow a colleague who has abandoned the craft to invite me for an interview so they’ll use me to sell their content. I’ll never come,” he said.
“I prefer patronising unknown bloggers over the actors who think they have made it. Even if I come, I’ll charge you,” Lil Win added.
According to Lil Win, the trend of filmmakers turned media presenters deliberately leveraging their fame to make money in unfair ways is alarming.
I could do the same. I could also abandon film and bring cameras into your homes and bring out your issues, but I won’t,” Lil Win established.
