The Kumawood star, born Kwadwo Nkansah, has courted controversy over the past few weeks with his aggressive promotional tactics for his upcoming movie, Ibrahim Traore, the Last African Hero.

The movie, a biopic about the President of Burkina Faso, is set to premiere on Saturday, August 2, 2025.

Lil Win slammed organisers of the vigil for the late Ghanaian musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, aka Daddy Lumba, after the memorial was scheduled on the same date as his premiere.

He stated that Lil Win’s career has already failed in the spiritual realm and that it is only a matter of time before it manifests in the physical realm.

One God said Lil Win’s upcoming Ibrahim Traore movie would be a complete flop and would serve as the start of his decline.

“Lil Win’s career is already over in the spiritual realm. The movie he’s about to premiere would not be successful. He would incur a lot of debt. You cannot use a coup d’état in another country to create a movie to make money in Ghana,” he said.
