In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Kudus was seen seated next to teammate Djed Spence when a birthday cake was brought out in his honour.
Joy filled the room as the team clapped and cheered, setting the tone for a light, warm-hearted moment during their intense training tour.
The Right to Dream Academy product rose to his feet, briefly soaking in the affection before delivering a short but powerful message.
“Thank you all for the wish, let’s win tomorrow,” Kudus said, drawing more cheers and applause from his teammates.
He then returned to his seat and blew out the candles, wrapping up the celebration in a quiet, thoughtful manner.
