Moonshot by TechCabal, Africa’s premier technology and innovation conference, will hold its third edition from October 15 to 16, 2025, at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.
The event expects over 4,000 attendees, including founders, investors, policymakers, and creatives from more than 15 countries, alongside 120 speakers, all converging to accelerate the continent’s digital transformation. This year’s theme, “Building Momentum: Africa’s Tech Ecosystem Positions Itself for Its Next Big Leap,” reflects a pivotal phase of maturation following economic challenges and funding shifts, now emphasizing sustainable and scalable growth.
Tomiwa Aladekomo, CEO of Big Cabal Media, highlighted the ecosystem’s resilience, noting that funding fluctuations have spurred more intentional entrepreneurship and clearer regulatory frameworks. “African founders have persevered and thrived,” Aladekomo stated, adding that the current momentum is “firmly grounded in strong fundamentals, propelled by clarity, and intensely focused on scale.” Moonshot 2025 aims to harness this energy, serving as a continental hub to solidify progress and align stakeholders around emerging opportunities. Headline sponsor Sabi, a global trade enabler, returns for its third year, with CEO Anu Adedoyin affirming the event’s role in fostering connections and scalable solutions.
The conference features nine content tracks designed for impactful dialogue. Key programs include FUEL: The Investor Conference, upgraded to enhance deal-making with structured deal rooms, pitch sessions, and LP/DFI engagement; the Startup Festival, offering workshops and the flagship TC Battlefield competition; an Emerging Tech (AI) track showcasing practical applications; and a Government & Policy Conference driving digital reform commitments.
