One of the fastest and most progressive ways to gain knowledge and keep for a lifetime journey is through consistently seeking knowledge and mentorship from those who have mastered the art of the knowledge you look for.
In this regard, PM Entertainment Consult together with PM foundation organised The Finest MasterClass for MCs, Hypemen and Public Speakers on Saturday 27th September 2025 at the Takoradi Mall from 10 am through to 4 pm to mark the celebration of PM’s 15 years as a Professional MC/Hypeman.
The second phase of the celebration focused on knowledge sharing and mentorship. The Finest MasterClass brought together aspiring MCs, hypemen, and public speakers under the mentorship of Great and Legendary names like His Royal Blackness King Kwasi Kyei Darkwah popularly known as KKD – a renowned and legendary public speaker/ Brands and Culture expert/ace Broadcaster/a Professional MC who is admired by the masses not only for his Vocal and Speaking Prowess but also his sense of Fashion that is a personal inspiration to many young MC’s, Broadcasters and public Speakers including Nana Quasi-Wusu (PM).
Other Facilitators include Kofi Cephas – a brand strategist who is also well known for his contribution to the growth of the headless YouTuber and other great brands nationwide. Also, MC Kofi Darlinton a well-known and respected MC/Hypeman who is known for his flair and energy in that field. Hosted by Nana Quasi-Wusu a.k.a PM or TheFinestMc MC/Hypeman/Broadcaster And A Public Speaker).
In attendance were various media personalities from YFM, Newday TV, Asaase Radio, DJs, MCs, students, and various corporate workers who have an interest in public speaking.
The MasterClass began with the Host, Nana Quasi-Wusu who did a presentation on The 10 Commandments of a Professional MC/Hypeman followed by his Q & A’s.
The Legendary King Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, who spoke on issues relating to the total personality of MCs and Public Speakers both on the field of work and off-field. Highlighting the essence of being able to grab the attention of the audience through varied forms of interactions, he used his life and work experiences as examples in this session. He also went ahead to give the members of the MasterClass a chance for questioning.
The team then went on a snack break. MC Kofi Darlinton, also spoke on the topic Monitizing your craft as an MC/Hypeman. He touched on the need to have a good ear for assessing music and the atmosphere of performance before commencing as a hypeman on stage. He emphasised the need to build tenacity and good posture to clearly communicate with your on-stage and off-stage audience.
The Masterclass was climaxed by Kofi Cephas who is well known for his apt knowledge in brand positioning. He spoke on the need for good brand visibility and the means to go about as creatives to identify the loopholes that need fixing or corrections to attain the right audience for one’s brand.
The event ended with an interactive session amongst the panel and attendees. Certificates were awarded to attendees/participants of The Finest MasterClass For MCs Hypemen and Public Speakers.
In conclusion, this initiative forms part of PM’s broader vision to strengthen the creative industry especially in the Western Region by building confident, skilled, and ethical communicators who will also pass down the impact to other young budding communicators who seek to make the art a profession beyond a hobby.
