In a bold step toward prioritizing the health of its workforce, Nestlé Ghana has inaugurated a state-of-the-art wellness hub at its headquarters in Accra.

This initiative is part of the company’s broader commitment to foster a culture of health and wellness among its staff. Staff members dressed in  Milo-branded T-shirts bearing the slogan “Building Champions” and embraced the day’s theme by engaging in various health-related activities such us aerobics  , yoga and soccer.

Speaking at the Launch of the Wellness Hub Salomé Azevedo, Managing Director of Nestlé Ghana, underscored the critical importance of taking care of one’s health in order to effectively manage life’s many responsibilities.

“It’s all about the choices you make every day. There will be 100 priorities in your life, but you can’t be any of those things—a parent, a colleague, a friend—if you don’t take care of yourself first. Exercising is transformative. We need to live longer, stay strong for our families, and enjoy a healthy life.”

Deborah Kwablah, the Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Manager, shared her thoughts on how the new wellness center plays into the company’s broader health initiatives.

“The Wellness Center and the gym that we have commissioned today in the Nestle Ghana head office is to really drum home and put into action the fact that we care about our employees.”

The wellness hub is set to offer a range of services that promote both physical and mental well-being. This move aligns with Nestlé Ghana’s broader goal of creating a healthier, more productive work environment, ultimately contributing to the company’s long-term success.
