A Ghana-based Nigerian lady has appreciated and praised President John Mahama over the price reduction of cooking gas.

In a video she shared on her TikTok page, the Nigerian lady, with the username @marcy6056, was excited to share her recent realisation of the price of cooking gas.
In the video, the young lady explained how she had recently gone to fill up her cooking gas cylinder, only to find out that the price had significantly reduced from the last time she bought cooking gas.
According to her, before President John Mahama came to power, she usually filled her 6.5kg gas cylinder for GH₵130, but by June 2025, six months after Mahama became president, the price of the same gas quantity had dropped to about GH₵95.
The Nigerian lady continued further, stating that the last time she refilled, it had amazingly dropped by an extra GH₵5.
In her words:
“As of last year, it used to cost GH₵130 to fill it, and even early this year. But by June, they told me GH₵95, and just yesterday, I filled it at GH₵90.”
She expressed her excitement about the depreciation of the cooking gas price while also applauding the Mahama-led government.

Ghanaian man rates Mahama’s government 99.5%

In a street interview, he rated the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration 99.5 out of 100, citing visible progress.
The man pointed to initiatives like Free Senior High School, noting that the Mahama-led government had added value to existing policies.
He stressed that he had no political affiliation but appreciated the tangible benefits citizens were experiencing.
