Jimmy Newton, a winner of the 2019 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), has graduated as a medical doctor from the School of Medical Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Jimmy Newton is a distinguished alumnus of St Augustine’s College in Cape Coast of the Central Region.

Jimmy Newton, Joseph and Eliason won the second NSMQ trophy for the St Augustine’s College, 12 years after their first trophy.

They scored 39 points at the time, surpassing their contenders, St Peter’s SHS and PRESEC.
